What Is Tajweed, and What Will Your Child Learn?

Tajweed is the set of rules for reciting the Quran correctly: giving every letter its proper sound and every verse its proper rhythm. In our online Tajweed course, students move beyond basic reading to accurate, fluent and confident recitation.

Advanced Tajweed rules

Rule by rule lessons, each practised in real Quran recitation until it becomes natural.

Correct pronunciation

Makharij, the exact point each letter comes from, so sounds are clear and accurate.

Fluent recitation

Smooth, steady recitation with the right pace, flow and pauses.

Recording reviews

Your child records their recitation and the teacher reviews it with specific feedback.

Parent meetings

Regular meetings keep parents informed about progress, strengths and next steps.

Mentor support

A stronger student mentor follows up between classes to keep practice on track.

Before you start: this course is for students who can already read the Quran. If your child is still learning to read fluently, begin with our online Quran reading course.
